My wife and I went on this downtown historical and cultural tour and it was wonderful. Yvonne was our guide and she knew just about everything about the island. Even things I was curious about outside the area of downtown. I would encourage everyone to take some time and visit the downtown area and learn a little about the history and culture of this island versus just staying at the resort. Also, the tour had a couple of snack stops to try some delicious traditional Aruba snacks. :)

Our tour guide Wendle was fantastic! He answered all our questions and provided us a much better understanding of the history and culture of the island and specifically Orandstad. He tried to time stops in the shade and replenished our water along the way. When I asked him if he could recommend where my husband could pick up an Aruba National football (soccer) team shirt he called a friend and at the end of the tour was so kind and drove us to the National team office to buy the shirt and then drop us back at the hotel. What a wonderful Ambassador for such a lovely island. This was one of our trip highlights!!
