Private Snorkeling and Sightseeing Tour of Antigua

This tour was great! Johnny is a wealth of knowledge about the island and it's history and people. We visited Nelson's Dockyard and learned the history of the island. And then went to Shirley Heights for a beautiful view of English Harbor. This was a private tour which is what we wanted especially to have more time to snorkle. Johnny took us to a beautiful beach where we saw turtles, octopuses, lots of fish and a ship wreck. We got to spend a lot of time there and we were not rushed. I would hightly recommend this tour!

Last night before arriving In Antigua . I searched for a trip that wouldn’t involve cruise ship tourists heading off in herds to the very proper places I found Jonny on trip advisor very late in the evening. The reviews of this tour and of Jonny were fabulous so i decided to give it a go . The booking went really smoothly and almost straight away I received the confirmation booking tickets and a message from Jonny . Such a fast response Jonny text me some arrangements on where to meet and it was literally just out side the dock entrance down the Main Street . We sent a pic of me and my son and I’d seen pics of him on the review site We left the ship early and Jonny was already there . First impressions friendly , relaxed , kind and a genuine nice guy . Short walk to where his small mini bus which we had to ourselves . It was lovely and cool clean and comfortable.

We loved this combination cultural island tour and snorkelling. Normally we’d take a group snorkelling boat excursion but we really enjoyed this private land tour and guided snorkelling off the beach much better. Johnny is a really standup guy, an excellent tour guide and knows how to find the elusive sea creatures. Although conditions were not optimal when we went he still found a stingray, puffer fish and green sea turtle to show us along with the other fish around the shipwreck. He does whatever he can to keep you comfortable whether in the water or on land and even brought water to wash the sand off our feet. I highly recommend this 1/2 day tour! Book direct on his website
