Private Snorkeling and Sightseeing Tour of Antigua

Booked this excursion before taking a cruise and then forgot I had booked it. So, I booked another excursion (Diving) with friends I had met on board. Johnny, the Tour operator did a great job texted me on where he would be and what he looked like. I thought he was a Dive Shop representative. After arriving at the Dive Shop, I learned Johnny was not associated with the shop. To his credit, Johnny sent a couple more texts asking my whereabouts. His last text advised me he could no longer wait for us. I wasn’t able to read those texts until I returned to the ship. In my opinion, Johnny acted professionally and went beyond the call of duty waiting for us to show up. For those reasons, I rate his services as excellent!

Unlike most tour guides, Johnny does not just give you a standard spiel; instead, he answered our questions honestly and gave us an in-depth understanding of life in Antigua. Highly recommended and memorable experience. Rare for Antigua we had a very rainy day which slowed traffic and cut short our itinerary ( also because it took much longer than expected to walk to the agreed upon meeting place due to my husbands pulled achilles tendon). Nevertheless, Johnny was extremely informative and managed to take our granddaughter for a snorkel in the rain at a secluded beach (Galleon) where she saw fish and a submerged boat, much to her delight! We had a quick walk through Nelsons Dockyard at English Harbour, very interesting and well worth the $15 entry fee.

We really enjoyed Johnny’s knowledge and professionalism on this tour. Great snorkelling. He’s a very kind guy that made us feel comfortable on this trip
