Remi was so easy to work with. Called us the day we booked to confirm details. The excursion itself was amazing. Our tour guide, Placid, was great. Made extra stops along the way to sample to local fruits on the island, including knocking a mango straight from the tree to try. He stopped for numerous photo opportunities and got some great pictures of my husband and I along our way, helping us to capture memories of our trip. Everything was handled by Placid, including having the tours arranged and paid for, all we had to do was get in the comfortable van and we were on our way. Later in the trip we contacted Rumie again for a taxi to and from Sandals La Toc to the street party to the Sandals Halcyon, where we stayed. Jay, our driver got us there in great timing avoiding traffic and making it easy to find his car when we were ready to go. When I left something in the vehicle, she arranged to have it brought back the next morning without delay. I would recommend Rumies tours for transportation and/excursions as she checks in with you and makes sure you're taken care of the whole way.

The island is beautiful, the tour was amazing, and the best part was that Rumie was kind, knowledgeable, fun, and really went out of the way to make sure each of us got the experience we wanted. She was accommodating and her prices are fair and definitely worth it. I highly recommend her tours.

What can we say but Wow. I booked Rumie tours before coming to the Island for Airport transfers but after meeting Rumie we booked in for a Private Chocolate tour. When we arrived at the airport we were met with the biggest smile. We chatted like old friends on the way to the car. Rumie is amazingly positive and very proud and passionate about the island. Even though we had a long flight the drive to the resort was enjoyable and went by quickly. Rumie pointed out all the local produce and told us all about the local landmarks we passed. It was a wonderful welcome to the Island. We decided to do the bean to bar experience with project chocolate and booked it through Rumie and it was the best decision we could of made, again the car ride was comfortable, despite the st Lucia roads and we chatted again like we had known each other forever while learning more and more about the island and everything it has to offer. When we got to the tour Rumie became our photographer and videographer making sure to catch every moment for us and leaving us to focus on learning all about the cacao plants and making our chocolate bars. After the tour and a fabulous lunch she suggested going to do the Tet Paul nature trail. It was a fantastic suggestion , we did the smaller walk which had some breathtaking views of the pitons and the Island. All through the small hike Rumie took photos and explained the local plants, flowers and trees and their uses. Her knowledge is such a great asset as both me and my husband are inquisitive and love to learn about local cultures. After the walk she served us some of her homemade Tamarind juice, she even had ice it was delicious, refreshing and I'm still thinking about it. Throughout our stay on the Island Rumie stayed in contact even sending me a video of my husband when he went to do the piton hike when she spotted him there. Saying goodbye when we were dropped of at the airport was like saying goodbye to a friend. Her laugh and good attitude are infectious and her knowledge invaluable. We had an amazing time made all the better for having her as our tour guide.
