The hike is undeniably challenging, possibly the most difficult one I've ever attempted, but absolutely rewarding. You should give it a shot! I'm thrilled that I did. The ascent to the volcano presents the greatest challenge, but it rewards you with breathtaking views of magnificent trees and their sprawling roots. The vista from the summit and into the crater is simply breathtaking. Our guide led us to a fantastic vantage point where we could marvel at the crater's center. The descent is comparatively easier, but caution against slipping is advised. Both guides were incredibly kind and accommodating of my pace. A few days back, we embarked on the hike and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. Despite its challenges, looking back, every step was truly rewarding. The guide Segz was excellent, and we made plenty of thrilling memories. THE views are amazing! A must do when visiting Nevis. Christian & Kayla was very helpful courteous and explained all things concerning safety.
