So you know what ? I read the reviews before booking this and read of the shaky cars and the breathing in fumes etc etc. those must have been bad days because my trip yesterday was great. We enjoyed it. We went upstairs on the old sugar cane train that’s probably older than my 60+ years. We drove through the island and were educated on the slavery and then the abolishment of slavery. We were then informed that St Kitts and Nevis were the smallest independent countries having sought independence from the Uk. Good on them. So there is hope for the Scottish then. Still work to do on tourism but in poor countries such as this they will learn and embrace tourism the more they learn. Loved it. If you get a chance you will love it. And no there were no fumes and yes the carriages move from side to side. The train line has been there for a long long time. Good on them for using it to their advantage. Oh did I say you also get plenty of rum punch onboard ?<div class="row"></div>
Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. From the bus driver who took us to/from the railway to the hostess and men/women on the train. Drinks were good and overall.. enjoyable<div class="row"></div>

Beautiful views and friendly hostesses. I didn’t have high expectations as I figured it would just be some scenic touring. Yes, the train rocks back and forth- it was scary at first then you realize it’s staying on the tracks and you can relax and enjoy the views! The views were beautiful and the hostesses were so friendly and made everyone feel welcome. The drinks were not the greatest, but they were fine. We would do this again with our children if visiting the island again!<div class="row"></div>
Amazing ride with very informative guide.
Fantastic scenery 😍
Drinks were served constantly. Alcoholic or non alcoholic, whichever you prefer. Only downside is I suffer from motion sickness and I forgot my Kwells. The ride is a bit rocky.<div class="row"></div>

This train trip was really interesting. I learned a lot about the island that I would not have otherwise known. The drinks were generous and plenty. Loved seeing both the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea.<div class="row"></div>
